About the designer:

Matières Fécales is a Paris-based fashion label shaped by the polished glamour and radical individuality of its founders, Hannah Rose and Steven Raj.

Its story began in 2014, when the two met and fell in love while studying fashion design in Montreal. Feeling constrained by the expectations around them, they found in one another the confidence to fully embrace their identities. Over the past decade, they have developed a distinctive post-human vision and built an international community united by bold, unapologetic self-expression.

The label made its Paris Fashion Week debut in March 2025 with the FW25 collection, emerging as one of the season’s standout presentations and a striking new force in contemporary fashion, defined by razor-sharp tailoring and silhouettes with a couture sensibility.
